Structuring of 3D circuitry with laser technology

The LPKF ProtoLaser 3D structures electronic plastic components (3D-MIDs). 3D plastic components with circuitry can be found in the consumer industry, the automotive industry, medical technology and in LED design.

To create the basic component, conventional 3D printed plastic parts are coated by a special 2 component paint to apply the LDS layer. In the next step the layer is activated by the ProtoLaser 3D for metallization.
