Drill holes in stainless steel foils with high precision and speed

Filter applications require exact hole diameters that are in the micrometer range. Industry demand for filters that can no longer be economically produced with conventional mechanical processing methods is increasing.

Holes in stainless steel foils with high precision and speed can be produced with the LPKF StencilLaser G 6080. The minimum obtainable hole diameter is 30 μm.
