New applications for the LPKF StencilLaser G 6080
Due to the wide variety of electronic components and their different dimensions, contact surfaces also vary. Step stencils can precisely adapt soldering paste volume to contact surfaces of various sizes.
A step stencil is a special SMD stencil shape which has local recesses (step-down) or bumps (step-up) inserted. This allows assembly of a circuit board with semiconductor components having little pitch or with rugged connection components in one work step.
