New applications for the LPKF StencilLaser G 6080Due to the wide variety of electronic components and their different dimensions, contact surfaces also vary. Step stencils can precisely adapt soldering paste volume to contact surfaces of various sizes.
A step stencil is a special SMD stencil shape which has local recesses (step-down) or bumps (step-up) inserted. This allows assembly of a circuit board with semiconductor components having little pitch or with rugged connection components in one work step.
